Introduction:

Why was EGCSO started?

We started EGCSO so that human rights and refugee associations across the world could work together to improve the quality of refugees and immigrants’ lives.

Refugees and immigrants face growing problems: difficulties in seeking asylum; modern slavery; political and mafia abuse; discrimination including from governments; racism; challenges in realising their potential in the host community; and violations of basic human rights.

EGCSO acts as a bridge between different refugee and migrant organisations and policy makers to improve the quality of refugees’ lives.

How does EGCSO work?

We work by analyzing the situation for refugees and migrants, providing information and working together with active members, human rights activists, refugees and motivated youngsters from different countries and nationalities to change refugees’ and migrants’ lives for the better.

What are our values?

EGCSO is against any violation of rights; racial, ethnic, linguistic, religious, sexist, political, national discrimination; and inhumane or prejudiced interests.

The values of human rights, democracy, equality, social justice, peaceful coexistence, unity, social stability, respect for the law and cooperation are the basis for all our work.Introduction:
